ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024: Fixtures, Schedule, and Groups Announced

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the fixtures, schedule, and groups for the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the United States from June 10 to July 1, 2024.

The tournament will feature 20 teams competing in the global cricket event, with the top eight sides from the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 automatically qualifying for the Super 12 stage. The remaining 12 teams will compete in the First Round, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super 12 stage.

In Group A, West Indies will face off against Papua New Guinea in their opening match on June 10. Group B will see Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan competing for the top spots, while Group C includes New Zealand, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. Group D consists of South Africa, Australia, England, and another yet-to-be-determined team.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 12 stage, which will be played in a single round-robin format. The top four teams from the Super 12 stage will then qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners facing off in the final on July 1 at the Lauderhill Stadium in Florida, USA.
