WEB Mbappe scores hat-trick as PSG hit Montpellier for six
An unstoppable Kylian Mbappe hit a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain romped to a 6-1 win over Montpellier in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
The France forward took his tally for the season to 14 goals in all competitions with a clinical display at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finishing off a fine team move with a low drive into the bottom corner.
He doubled his lead shortly after the half-hour mark, capitalizing on a loose ball in the Montpellier defense to slot home from close range.
Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the second half, converting a penalty after he was tripped in the box.
Neymar and Lionel Messi also got on the scoresheet for PSG, with the latter scoring a stunning free-kick.
The win moves PSG 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, with just five games remaining in the season.
